With the release of this summer’s Up, Disney also released a teaser for Toy Story 3. All the favorite characters make a cameo. Check it out!

Word on the street says that Future of Forestry will be releasing 3 EP’s this year. The first of which entitled Travel has already been released. You can preview the first entry to this trilogy and download the free song here off their Facebook Page. Travel II will be released sometime in September and Travel III is set to follow in January 2010.

A good friend of evadethenoise made me aware of this free download from a band called The Autumn Film. If you’re looking for a new band that you know will be big in a few years, then The Autumn Film is that band. I would’ve easily paid $5 for this free EP and I think you would do well to get yourself a copy. It’s got passion, emotion and some beautiful songwriting–the song “Sleep” is especially fabulous. Trust me–these guys are going places.

Though we’re a little bummed to see muxtape get shut down, we’re still all about making mix tapes and sharing them with friends. In a world that no longer uses cassette tapes to share music, we’ve had to find other ways of passing around our favorite tracks. That’s why we’re excited to tell you about 8tracks.com. They’re the new, legal way of uploading mp3’s and making mixes of your favorite tunes.

8tracks’ site design is very simple and creating the mixes is a breeze. Just pick your mp3s from your computer, upload some art (or pick from the album art), and post it to MySpace, Facebook, blog, or whereever way you want.
