The Breadline Make Music…and Babies
9 Mar
Ryan and Jessica Strader are married and they sing and write music together. Calling themselves The Breadline I honestly don’t know how to describe them, but their bio does a good job of giving an overview of who and what they are when it says, “We met, fell in love, prayed, married, and now make babies and music. We plan ..ing a commune for babies that play and or compose music. It’s a sort of promised land, if you will. We hope that you, too, will meet that special someone, fall in love, pray, and be married. Just leave the music and babies to us. Love, Ryan and Jessica.”
A breadline is defined as “a queue of people waiting for free food.” Thoughts of the 1930′s depression might be coming to mind and that’s not too far from the kind of music that The Breadline makes. I don’t even know if these two are still making music together as information about them is very slim. I can’t find a single link to purchase their music, and their latest MySpace blog is over two years old, but I feel the need to share this song called “Loneliness” with you. In light of our current economic times and the fact that this song is just beautiful, I have to share it:
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
P.S. If you have any information regarding The Breadline please feel free to share it in the comments of this post. We would love to buy their music and support what they do…assuming their still making music?
